早稲田大学震災復興への取り組み（ご紹介とお願い）

 早稲田大学ではこのたびの大震災に際して大学としていかなる支援が出来るのか を検討、実施し、その役割を果たすため、総長自らを室長とする「東日本大震災 復興支援室」を設置いたしました。今後、早稲田大学では震災復興に向け、全学 上げての支援活動を行って参ります。詳細は以下、Webをご参照ください。

“2011 Off the Pacific Coast of Tohoku Earthquake”


この度の災害に被災された方々には、心よりお見舞い申し上げます。
WASEDA USAでは大学支援というミッションに基づき、被災された在学生、校友および入学予定学生の方々に対する義援金募集活動を開始いたします。義援金は、大学や校友会を通して奨学金、学費免除および見舞金として、学生、校友への援助に使用させていただきます。また集まりました義援金は管理費や経費には当てず、全てを援助に使用いたします。ご支援いただける方は以下のフォームをご記入いただき、WASEDA USA 宛小切手とともに下記までお送りください。金額は問いません。なお、フォームのご送付および記載内容につきましてはオプショナルとさせていただきます。また、領収書をご希望の方はその旨お申し出ください。
※WASEDA USAは米国内国歳入庁コード501(c)(3)に基づく免税団体資格をもつ非営利組織であり、米国で所得を有する方のWASEDA USAへのご寄付は税務控除対象となります。


Waseda USA extends its most sincere sympathy to all who have suffered from the earthquake and tsunami.

Waseda USA was created in New York to support Waseda University, a 128year old institution of higher education located in Tokyo, Japan. Waseda University is a well diversified institution with over 54,000 Japanese and foreign students. Its 558,000 alumni association members are living in all over the world. Many of these Waseda students and alumni are now victims of this disaster. Based on its mission, Waseda USA is requesting contributions to assist students, graduates and prospective students who have suffered from this disaster.

The money raised will be sent to the University and to the Alumni Association and will be used to fund scholarship programs and tuition reduction/exemption programs, as well as to provide direct aid for the victims. All funds contributed will be given to those who suffered, without deducting administrative fees or costs. All donations of any amount are appreciated.

To make a donation, please send a check made payable to “Waseda USA” and send it along with the attached application form (optional). We will be happy to send you a receipt upon your request.
※ Waseda USA, is a tax-exempt public charitable organization under Section 501 (C) (3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to Waseda USA may be tax-deductable for US taxation purposes.
